Considering that he stated he's not sure yet if he is going to EE (but will be able to if he wants, upon completing 3 courses in the fall) and that the staff has already discussed the possibility of redshirting, i'm going to assume there is no EE contingency with this commitment and eventual signing. He's a great prospect no matter what month in 2017 he enrolls. He also happens to be playing a position we have now established solid depth at, minimizing the importance of enrolling early (although I'm sure the staff would be happy to have him EE if there's enough scholarship spots in the spring to do so -- which may be another reason it's unnecessary).

Like his attitude. Anyone that says "I want to play the position that's going to help us win" is a winner in my book. Hope he is a successful player here

Boom! Big pick-up. This guy has a great attitude and sounds like he's willing to work hard. Also like the fact that the coaches think he's versatile enough to play multi-positions. Can't wait to watch him play for the Vols!

Great pick-up here. 6'5 285 in HS. He'll be playing at TN at about 305-310. According to Rivals he's the #3 player in the State behind Pitts and Ross.

I try to support any kid who chooses to be a Vol regardless of stars. Probably why I take offense if/when they get dumped later.

I respect the kid trying to take that spot, but he shouldn't have waited.

Things going to get interesting soon. We are recruiting Ross, Eze, Smith, Foster, the Gaddy bros, Gibbs, Holloman, Chandler, Akers, etc, and they are all still in the works. Butch is going to get creative.

Why, they still have 7 spots left and that is not including back counting or any recruit that flips to another school for whatever reason.
