'17 VA DT/ATH Eric Crosby (UT signee)

He's more towards 6'1" but still one strong dude. Think he will be heavily involved in the DT rotation this fall

I didn't watch his senior highlights but I remember him looking extremely raw in his junior's. It is promising early from a physical standpoint.

which might make this kid harder to move. Hes a tank.

Crosby is a grown-a$$ man and if we have injuries and he has to play, I am confident, he can handle the physicality of the SEC and make an impact. Hopefully, we won't need him to play, unless he is just too good

Check them out. In addition to DT he plays running back and just runs by and through his competition. It's hilarious

To be that big, strong and athletic is nuts. The only thing this guy needs is coaching and desire to be a force. Like Breaker says..He's gotta have that dog in him.

He has a 1525 lbs total on bench, squat, and deadlift at 18 years of age. 1800 lbs is considered a "pro class" in weight lifting competitions.

So he plays DT, FB, RB, and punts? Did i miss anything? Did he catch any passes?

One of the things we told him during recruiting is that we would like to have him line up as an occasional FB in short yardage. Would be cool to see

:eek:lol: honestly didn't know if you were being sarcastic or not

I can see that. One of my favorite message board comments about smaller RBs, "won't be able to do that at the next level". Crosby is bouncing runs around the corner at 320lbs; it is, by far, the most impressive part of his hudl. There aren't 10 320 pound high school kids, from the last 10 recruiting classes combined, who could bounce a run outside against the over 50 Vol Nation All-Stars.

He's definitely an athletic freak. Him running that fast at that size looks bizarre
