All we have to go by is what Hubbs, Callahan, etc have said. They said he likely didn't have a spot after the staff pressured him for a commitment and he declined at the time. Not like it is a made up scenario. It was actually reported.

Clearly the staff has a good feel for what will happen tomorrow by what the other dline kids we have recruited are doing.

My question is what does the staff know that we don't ,I feel like they are convinced we are not in any desperate need of D lineman over a wide receiver recruit ,why would they pass on him and not let a WR receiver go that was ranked lower than this guy.

We literally asked him to commit and when he didn't, we passed . It's not sad, it's what happens. Doubting every breath our coaches make is sad. Try enjoying the positives.

It's the SEC, you have to continually stock the cupboard with elite OL and DL. Conliffe was a need, no getting around that.
