For arguments sake, not because I think your lying, I'll ask you the same questions as I did before...Why punk the school you looooove so much? I actually understand the pull to leave home, and why he would want to go there for his careers sake. I do not understand the subterfuge. Was he pushed into it to prove his commitment to them?...P.S. For those of you who do not believe he misled the staff. Just disregard this. We've already hashed that out enough.

It would be similar to Drew Richmond recruitment. We Had Drew locked throughout his JR year. Then Ole Miss had a big year and became flavor of the year. They used some similar rumored tactics you see rumored here with Tee. Drew picks Ole Miss and recruit for them most of the year. Butch quietly in background stays in touch and then Butch slaps Hugh Freeze on NSD

Something always seemed a bit odd about this recruitment. It was said that Tee came out of a meeting with Butch and staff with everyone smiling and having fun just days before he announced. Does anyone think this entire thing was part of a plan for Tee to become a Vol on NSD? I could be way off base here but something is not adding up. Everyone knows Dabo doesn't allow his recruits to take any more visits so that allows Tee to play his senior season with no drama and then become a Vol on NSD and not have to deal with any of them again.... I guess I just never bought into the fact that Tee, Hunter and Amari are that close and also that a kid could purposely mislead a staff that he lives 20 minutes from knowing he would run into Vol Nation fans daily... Once again I could be way off base here but this is the way I have always thought about this situation.

I just want littlevol to answer those questions. Since he seems to know a lot, then he should have a good answer for them. I for one am not buying it. Just more disseminated bull manure to mess with everybody in my opinion.

This also may be a total setup of a silent commit making a 5 star flip punching Clemson in the mouth.

This is not some planned thing orchestrated by Butch. Tee is actively recruiting for Clemson. There is no way Butch would see that as a sensible trade off to have a NSD flip. Now Tee might flip to us down the road, but he's not a Vol today and recruiting for the tigers. Butch isn't signing off on that nonsense.

Look... from what ive heard, Clemson is his logical choice. $$$. And so far I can't argue with that. The kid really wants to set up his family for life. Can u blame him? Azzani aint turnin out....nvermnd

But keep in mind, this guy is playing because he wanted to play football for UT. I'm saying his whole reason for beginning to play football was because of the Vols. Thats where his heart is.

This is far from over.

We're about to have a season like we haven't seen in a while. A better season than Butch has ever had.

- He has the creator of his offense as his OC

- And one of the best DCs in the country.

- Top 4 talent in the conference with the most experience. Senior QB

Nothing is over... at all.

Heard it from the dog. The catcher wouldn't comment. Dog informed me the catcher is also a long lost cousin of Tees and he has been trying to get Clemson to take a look at him.

That's just it...he's not going to play enough to warrant going down to two quarterbacks. Dormady transfers and tho I myself said it would take a lot for Sheriron to transfer, after his Colorado venture, an inexperienced freshman vaulting you in the pecking order, qualifies. Then next year we'd be down to him and CJ Lewis. Coaches have to think along those lines and that's "why not". He's also missed the ends of his last two high school seasons due to injury...a low risk development year wouldn't be a bad thing. If he's as good as we're thinking, no he won't be a four year player. But he's not supplanting Dobbs this year unless there's a significant injury and then nothing's cemented to keep him from being promoted THIS YEAR. Otherwise, not worth it.

Get back to us when Tee actually decommits from Clemson and signs his LOI to Tennessee. Anybody following his recruitment understands that he's in Tennessee's backyard and as such has had a lot of people in his ear about staying in Knoxville. But until he actually does it, I'm not taking some anonymous school principal's word as the gospel here.

I don't buy any conspiracy theory...I think Tee went with the exciting pick and had HJ and AR all over him. Once all the buzz is gone, I do think he will have a tough time leaving the state. He is prepared to now, but when he isn't a part of the buzz when we play Florida...I wonder if we see him at the Bama game?

Tee is a Tiger and is a very active one on the recruiting trail. Nothing to see here. He also has been actively recruiting some of our commits as well.
