Get this. I could go back and 100 years and they can't hold UT or Georgia Tech's jock. Just pointing out with him laughing at UT that you could laugh right back at them.

Screw you. The only time they win a NC is cheating to get it and look at their total of two NC's compared to 6 for UT.

You love to build up other team's while you disparage UT.

We play in the SEC and they have played in the ACC where they have won the conference with a 5-5 and 6-5 record. He was laughing at UT and was just pointing out how they have no reason to be laughing. Bama could laugh at us but most real good Bama fans still at least respect Tennessee and know how this things go in cycles. In the past, it was a much easier path to win the ACC than for SEC schools to win. But, keep pulling for those anti-gamecocks from SC.

1965. You guys were 5-2 in conference and 5-5 overall. So was in the universe in which Clemson sucks. By the way, more upset with our own tigger loving BG.

I'm convinced you have an weird obsession with Clemson and the ACC considering you've been trying everything in your power to defend them in every thread when we're just stating facts that they've always had an easier road to an National Championship than us. You're probably one of these fans who has a spare Clemson T-shirt hanging in his closet. Vol fan? More like "bowlinggreentiger".

Well you weren't arguing last 100 years. You argued last 25. Your problem is you post **** on emotion and rather than facts. You assumed that was going to be some great insult because you assumed/thought UT had accomplished more in conference than Clemson had in the same time frame. I wouldn't be so quick to throw GT way ahead of them ether. The numbers, except for claimed national titles, are pretty much even across the board.

Sick insult bro. What's a weird obsession about a school I attended at one point? I started my Master's degree at Clemson before transferring so I'm somewhat aware of the history. I'm indifferent as to what goes on on the field with Clemson. However, my fandom for UT and and my lack of fandom for Clemson or any other school doesn't take away my ability to be objective and rational when discussing the merits of a team, program or player. Believe it or not, one can be a fan of someone, hate the opponent and still recognize the opponent is really good.

I pretty much hate every school besides UT. I do think I can remove my Orange shades as needed to get a reasonable grasp of various situations. I have noticed that some just can't do it with regard to other schools and especially regarding quality football programs. Clemson is doing well. Dabo unfortunately is abusing Butch currently in recruiting. As for on the field last year, I think we lose that game if played by 6-8. This year, probably a toss up.

He laughed when one of our own said Clemson and UT were basically the same teams last year. We both played Bama tight, us a little tighter, we both struggled more than we should have with SCar and they blasted OU for the 2nd straight year, while we lost 2x. Call it disparaging, call it my opinion, call it facts I don't care, but Clemson was a better football team than us LAST YEAR (not the last 100).

I think you're dead wrong about that but since we won't get to see it, that allows for random speculation.. I think Clemson goes down to Auburn in the opener, fwiw.
