I always thought you were reasonable in your posts. Like I said, I hope I'm wrong but I have my doubts. I'd be glad to be deemed Moran for inside info especially during the offseason.

I know where GFW played and went to high school and you are wrong about his not being connected to the team. SMH on the stupidity by some to want to run off guys with legit info. May not see him give any info again.

This AlcoVolic...a lot of longtimers here actually know or have met each other. If you want to, you can look through post histories to see for yourself. Also, if you are around long enough you can just tell for yourself who is legit. It's the same with LWS or Deerpark or OrangeVenom. If you are not dense you can just tell.

He won't. Something happened and there is bad blood now. The more that comes out, the more he sounds like a kid who is a punk. I wouldn't be surprised if he and Hunter Johnson turn out to be cancer in the locker room down the road for Clemson.

I think this is why recruiting carries such an odd importance to us away from having quality players, who simply put, make winning easier for our team.

So many things happen and can happen during a player's college career. Some under their control, some not.

Injuries, bad grades, daily choices as simple as what they are eating/studying academics/studying football and film/workouts and personal lives that directly effect the player's growth or lack there of. How much did they put in and get out. Some flourish, some don't.

So much can happen in 1 year, 1 month, or even 1 day. Even the most "surest" of athletes, meaning having and showing the characteristics of a pro as a legitimate future, can fall off the end of the world and be forever forgotten.

It's awesome when the hyped up player comes in and shows why he was coveted. It's awesome to see the little guys who weren't deemed as sure bets show out and become stars.

It's a 3-5 year soap opera of the human condition and life. No one knows the outcome of tomorrow today, and sometimes today can either propel or hinder tomorrow's existence.

Gotta love college football, a grown man's soap opera.

Go read Kongbo's thread in the time leading up to his signing. Also, he's brought information on players getting in trouble a full day before the 'news' was out.

Deerpark knows certain things. LWS brings good info, although I don't think he's as connected as others - he does get info from pay sites. But GFW is legit.

If he simply chose another school and was upfront with UT about it, then there's no issue. That being said, some of the people posting tidbits on here do indeed have inside connections and there's an awful lot of smoke surrounding his situation.

Forget the accusations. Fact is he handled it in a piss poor manner and basically gave the finger while heading out the door to the fans and university as he headed out the door. That is truth and why reaction has been harsh. It was classless.

Where were you on this board when Josh Malone chose TN over Clemson? It's obvious who you are a fan of, and it's not the team represented on this board.

If "Tee is a fine young man", then he needs to get his head out of his azz and try to get his college career off to a better start.

He, and perhaps his family if they were involved in this drama, have shown at the least immaturity, and at the worst dishonesty and disrespect to their community.

If he plans on living in Oak Ridge/Knoxville has he thought about the implications of coming home and trying to get a job? Imagine how that interview will go when the boss went to UT and remembers how his recruitment went down.

I have not heard anyone criticize him for his decision to go to Clemson, but many are upset about his disrespect for UT, and that character flaw does not bode well for his future.

If he wants to get out of state to go to college chances are he is not going to come back here after college to look for a job, imo.

No one's losing their minds. We were having a discussion on a message board about a local player. And then some slack jawed knuckle dragging loser, meaning you, wondered in here and tried to dictate the discussion. We are just telling you in a round about way to gfy and leave if you don't like what is being discussed. Clear enough?
