People like you are the reason we can't have civil discourse with opposing fans. You swoop in like vultures when you think you see weak or dead prey. The problem this time is that you've mistaken a stumble for a fall. It is my most sincere hope that some second or third tier SEC team that UT thrashes during the regular season kicks Clemson's teeth in at the Music City Bowl this year.

It's all cyclical and fortunately it's about time for Clemson to see the downside of that cycle again. Don't worry though, if you live long enough I'm sure you will see a nationally relevant Clemson again. They are like the Haley's Comet of college football. Heck, they might be on the same calendar.

UNC: they recovered 2 onside kicks (iirc); both were overturned by penalties. The second one was egregious as nobody was close to being off-sides. This was in the championship game. To the casual observer, it appeared to be rigged - best outcome for the conference was to have an undefeated, play-off bound team.

SC: when SC played us, they still had bowl hopes. They had mailed it in by Clemson. Also, our games leading up to SC were Bama, KY. There's were Syracuse, WF. Your argument about SC is my point. We both beat that team similarly. Yet, Clemson is an "elite" undefeated team, and we're a 4 loss "underachieving" team. Flip conferences, flip outcomes. Clemson is a good team. They're not elite.

My thoughts on this whole rumor is if it did happen do you really think Clemson would be that stupid as to give any way for it to be proven? If Dabo is a snake, which he probably is, he has been taught by the best to do it and not leave any trails. So did something happen? Maybe. Does it benefit UT or its fans to complain about it? No.

He played for Stallings who didn't go a very good job of avoiding probation.

I highly doubt that. The guy chimes in almost immediately after pay sites release tidbits on recruits. I watched it happen many many times. He made everyone feel good about Tee when the other guy (IHT)blew the secret which was Clemson and actually knew he was going to there. Gfw knew nothing and I highly doubt the guy is seriously connected to the team. Jmo. Flame away
