'17' TN ATH Tee Higgins (Clemson commit)

cmon y'all. i ****ing despise the Gaycc and Clemp****. But that team last year was special, they were strong.

This kid will change his mind again closer to signing day.

You misunderstand our dynamic...really nothing to do with Clemson. :)

You know, I've been wondering if UT's communication with the NCAA could have something to do with GFW's absence from the recruiting forum given his job.

GFW's absence is likely because we, as a community, don't deserve GFW. Also, it's a slow recruiting season and errr'body's on vacation.

Haha casual observer of these forums for a while. Just decided to join the conversation. Read that sbnation article on the bagmen not long ago from a link on one of the threads here. Had no idea this stuff is so prevalent.

College football at power 5 level is a multi billion dollar business now. My question is, how deliberately obtuse does a person have to be to believe this isn't happening? Money corrupts everything. Think about how bad it has been even before the money was so big. Some coaches will try to be above board. Some coaches, especially the ones that are connected to, or descended from proven, habitually cheating programs, will do every dirty deed in the book to stay ahead of the game. Especially knowing that the enforcement of rules compliance is almost non existent. You have to be either a complete moran, or an overly idealistic, extremely naive ostrich to not believe it is happening.

My thoughts on this whole rumor is if it did happen do you really think Clemson would be that stupid as to give any way for it to be proven? If Dabo is a snake, which he probably is, he has been taught by the best to do it and not leave any trails. So did something happen? Maybe. Does it benefit UT or its fans to complain about it? No.

Acute observation

Possibly the most reliable poster with recruiting information on this site mentioned he caught word of it.

Who? And what did he say? Sorry, I've read a lot of this thread but not all 433 pages

And maybe something happened, I don't know, but I just find it hard to believe. It seems just too reactionary and convenient that we think this happened. Until I have some real evidence that it actually happened other than message board rumors, I don't want to convict a kid's character just because he chose a different school.

Although, I will say I somewhat disapprove of the way he handled the process as a whole.

I didn't give it much thought until OV suggested that there was a possible payoff. OV has been pretty spot on, and at the least should make one raise an eyebrow regarding Tee Higgins recruitment.

SIAP. Does anyone know who financed his grand production of "the announcement?" Or was it listed in the ending credits that I didn't watch?

That "official" source was proven wrong just the other day on twitter. Google is your friend, take off the Tin Foil hats. Tee just chose another school, move on.
