'17' TN ATH Tee Higgins (Clemson commit)

I have heard somewhat the same thing, what I heard was the handler insisted on payment and UT refused to do that so the handler is now making up lies about UT. I don't know who Tee's so called handler is but I do know my source is from inside the UT athletics department and that the NCAA has been notified about this handler and there's proof for a request of payment

Whoa...

That is incredibly sad. Regardless of the outcome, the taint is on those involved. I guess I'm naive, but it really seems dumb to risk this and potentially damage a professional career for what amounts to petty cash. If there is that much money changing hands, I would assume the IRS would have a strong opinion about it. Report it, and you leave a paper trail the NCAA might find interesting. Don't report it, and there could be criminal implications. Not worth it.

Wow. OV - you bring great info. This is very serious. Hope they find something and justice is served. This one has a very odd stench to it and has for a few weeks now.

Real question. If UT was leading and then supposedly Clemson stole him with a 250 grand bid, is it reasonable to assume UTs bid was closer to 200 grand?

Interesting...

If, and I mean a big "IF," this is true then it might help explain TH's jubilation and demeanor over the past week. Drunk on his new found riches and flying high. The brashness and naivete of youth, smh. For the sake of his future, and that of his family's, I hope these are only rumors.

Most of us would have dismissed this allegation as sour grapes (I did) without the OV drive by. If it bears out, I hate it for the young man. Bunch of dirty grown men bastardizing the process.

Exactly how I feel. OV lends this rumor some weight.

A bunch of grown, bitter, crybabies in here. He didn't pick us. He could still flip back. Stop making up excuses.

I'm over the guy personally. But I do find this rumor interesting. Might help explain why in state recruiting is going so strangely.

This rumor about money can't possibly be true. I have it on the crunchiest of authorities that Tee committed due to his deep respect and admiration for Dabo's solid-as-oak integrity, as demonstrated by his strict policy of no visits after commitments, which absolutely guarantees the highest moral standards of both recruit and recruiter.

Ahem.

Ahem.

No visit policy after committing and honoring commitments which promotes a family secure environment, especially to recruits who commit early. 250 grand doesn't really affect that I don't believe.

Might also explain why GFW hasn't stopped by since the commit. If OV is bringing information, you'd be very wise to listen up.

Would anything like this have to do with Hunter Johnson as well? Alleged UT fan, Clemson pops up and he does his crap behind the scenes on his visit here (allegedly) and then it appears he starts recruiting the exact players UT is after. The 3 amigos seem to have it out for UT now. Interesting...
