I have heard somewhat the same thing, what I heard was the handler insisted on payment and UT refused to do that so the handler is now making up lies about UT. I don't know who Tee's so called handler is but I do know my source is from inside the UT athletics department and that the NCAA has been notified about this handler and there's proof for a request of payment

That is incredibly sad. Regardless of the outcome, the taint is on those involved. I guess I'm naive, but it really seems dumb to risk this and potentially damage a professional career for what amounts to petty cash. If there is that much money changing hands, I would assume the IRS would have a strong opinion about it. Report it, and you leave a paper trail the NCAA might find interesting. Don't report it, and there could be criminal implications. Not worth it.

This rumor about money can't possibly be true. I have it on the crunchiest of authorities that Tee committed due to his deep respect and admiration for Dabo's solid-as-oak integrity, as demonstrated by his strict policy of no visits after commitments, which absolutely guarantees the highest moral standards of both recruit and recruiter.
Ahem.
I'm over the guy personally. But I do find this rumor interesting. Might help explain why in state recruiting is going so strangely.
