'17' TN ATH Tee Higgins (Clemson commit)

Disagree on this part. We are winning. This is an indictment against the staff.

We need to win against more than UGA and Northwestern. The perception that we got of losing the OU and UF games hurt bad especially the UF debacle.

We were 9-4 last year which is about not that impressive to recruits when comparing what Clemson has done over the past few years.

I don't, but I also don't assume.

I still have a feeling this one is far from done. I said yesterday, today CU is just the leader, get him to games, on campus, and win. Very possible he flips.

He's committed twice now so I doubt it will happen again. Also, how are we going to get him back to campus when it's a known fact that once you commit to Clemson, Dabo holds you hostage there so you can't take visits.

Does ZA lose his job if this kids does indeed sign with Clemson?

I don't think ZA is a good coach. Never have. That said, he doesn't call the plays. He coaches WRs like Butch wants them coached. Not sure ZA can be blamed for WR production. If they are not throwing the ball, the WRs are just blocking.

He can be blamed for not allowing guys to be loose and play loose and making them into robots

It's a long ways til NSD. Even if we had gotten the commitment from him it still wouldn't be over. Unless Butch & Co. just give up on him which they may but I don't think they will the big orange will still be filling his ear. This is recruiting where 8 months is a lifetime

Aside from Holloman (lets assume we lead for him and it's not just wishful thinking), what other receivers do we have legitimate chances at?

Honest question, how do you know this? I hope you aren't using the info from this thread to form that opinion.

I don't know anything - I just said IF - don't know if we'll ever know.

Edit: I got the same Happy 4th of July tweet from CBJ mentioned above

Yep, they do it just enough and feature a couple of great WRs.

and

They Win.

Winning is the key. It's why Clemson is doing so well now.

Enough? They've averaged 3,045 passing yards over the last 5 years and have SEC passing ranks of 4, 2, 5, 6, and 3. The most important part is that they've lately has a consistent deep threat with Coop and Ridley. Hard to load the box when they can go for 6 on any play.

I wouldn't allow my child to decommit from a school and commit to another unless he's absolutely certain that is where he's going.
