I guess I see why you would feel that way but they're replacing a lot of talent and it wouldn't shock me if they lost at Auburn in the opener. They will not be in the playoffs again.

Ironically, their 1 National Title (1981) is more than a little tainted because a Clemson booster living in Knoxville tried to buy two highly touted recruits from Knoxville (Terry Minor and James Cofer from the old Rule High School) at the time. They were under fire over it most of the 1981 season. Head Coach Danny Ford threatened to not take the field for their final game of the season (broadcast on ABC) if ABC aired an interview with Minor and Cofer before the game. Between Charley Pell and Danny Ford, they have an incredible history of corruption. I doubt anything has changed. They are not capable of winning unless they cheat.

Bring up the subject of Terry Minor and James Cofer from Knoxville sometime to a Clemson fan. Most of them will play dumb and pretend it didn't happen while some of them are genuinely ignorant of it. Their athletic department has swept it under the rug and tried to keep it there but it was why they went on probation in the '80s and it dogged Ford his entire career.

Cheating came natural to him.Ford was a Bryant player and assistant coach for the ole drunk if Iam not mistaken.

Clemsons three most successful coaches have been Frank Howard, Danny Ford and dabo swinney. All Alabama alums. Doesn't take much to do the math on that "program."

Yep... and Charley Pell (who preceded Ford at Clemson) was also an Alabama alum and probably the most corrupt coach in the history of the SEC while at Florida.

This is not a coincidence as you suggest... I said it before, Clemson is a 2nd rate program in a middle of nowhere little town that is not capable of winning unless they cheat.

I actually think Dabo has reached a point where he no longer "needs" to cheat but I feel pretty confident he cheated to get to this point. Top heavy recruiting a few years back similar to what Ole Miss has been doing.

Everyone starts scratching their head and saying "How is Ole Miss/Clemson doing this?" Well, the most obvious answer is usually the right answer. They pay.

Unless you think a guy that acts like a cat with close to 30K posts mainly showing up anytime UT receives negative news is a fan. Or a guy claiming insider status that just recently popped up with a handle a kid learning to talk would come up with. I guess you believed what the makeadudi idiot was saying too, right? If you enjoy playtime with posters with identity crises, feel free. Personally, I find it annoying and thus I say as much.

I just find it all entertaining. Its an anonymous message board so taking anything for gospel is just ridiculous. Except for one poster who gets on my nerves or when some millennial on here can't type out National Championship...but hey its 'Merica baby!

True. I always gravitated to this forum because this was the only one that seemingly discussed football related topics on a sports message board. I suppose it would be boring without a couple of wackos to stir the pot.

Tommy West's ex-brother-in-law is my General Sales Manager. Tommy was a pretty good VFL if I'm not mistaken.
