'17' TN ATH Tee Higgins (Clemson commit)

I'm not sure how plugged in Callahan actually is, when I asked him a few weeks ago if it was true that Reitmeir tried to commit and we told him to wait...he said that was not true and that RR was at the top of our list. I don't think RC was accurate on that one.

Question, does Tee have any OV left to any school. IIRC correctly, once a recruit commits to Clemson, Clemson basically wants that recruit to shut it down.. If this is true, I don't see Tee committing to Clemson this early, but this is JMHO

A recruit can't take an official visit until the first day of classes for their senior year begins. So you won't see any OV's until at least August.

More info on OV's versus UOV's here.

That's what I thought. They usually don't start using them for a few months yet.

Most of these kids seem to take in alot of camps and use that as UOV. The thing to keep in mind about recruiting is it is very fluid. You can talk to a kid today and he will name a leader and then talk to him tomorrow and he could say something different. Now Tee he is a different story. He decommitted from us because he wanted to take a couple of visits to make sure he was still cool with UT and CBJ and Co were very cordial about it. He loves coach and also loves CRG as well. That is why we have him aboard

What makes you believe that?

Gotcha, I wasn't thinking about the timing of the OV, but remembering the RB that committed to Clemson last year but cause some commotion with them for visiting the Vols. I had heard Clemson was known to want a recruit to shut down visits once committed to them..

I've read multiple times Dabo really pushes shutting it down. I see nothing wrong with it as long as he honors the commitments he's taken.

I agree. My line of thinking is if he is truly making a video with BR and will release by July 4th, and is committing to Clemson.. CDS will be wanting Tee to shut it down. My conspiracy thoughts are he isn't committing to Clemson this early because of this (cause he is a Vol).. See where I'm going with this.. 😃

I agree. Seems to be UT bound.

Once again I just don't see a scenario where tee goes elsewhere
