'17' TN ATH Tee Higgins (Clemson commit)

Clemson is already stacked with WR and have taken a few already this cycle..I think that plays a pretty big factor.

Maybe if it was a different position. But not at WR. If he has any confidence at all in his abilities than it shouldn't sway him. Just like UT taking 6 WRs last class shouldn't sway him.

We're all just gonna have to wait it out on Higgins. I hope UT gets him, but even if not we're still going to field Team 121. Some of the messages on here have nailed it, IMO. Johnson and Rogers are for sure on the job recruiting against us. Fine, that's their privilege. Butch is a great recruiter, and his staff are too. I'll trust Higgins and the rest of the TN recruits to CBJ.....not that we have much choice. Besides the official visits haven't even begun yet.
GBO!!

Fortenberry has said many times that Tee is UT's to lose.

If he comes here and plays football and basketball, he will be the hero of Knoxville for 3-4 years. Hometown boy. Plus, he will play for two winning programs during his time on the hill.

Have we offered him a chance to play basketball while on football scholarship? Have the coaches told him he could play basketball also?
Man I want him in the right shade of orange so bad...

IMO. He already knows where he is going and just wants to enjoy the process. The kid has earned it.

Its also better for his ranking if he stays uncommitted. I don't know about you but these services seem to like having their top prospects uncommitted.

If all the top prospects were already committed, there would be no interest in their news. But if their top prospects are uncommitted they can continue dripping nuggets like this.

Omfg Tee is ridiculous...if he does get out of TN, that is a massive failure by Butch&co.

He's not going anywhere. I'd rather see him keep rising up the charts than him be committed to us for over a year and be stuck in the middle of the top 100.

You know good and well he wouldn't be #6 on 247 right now if he was a Tennessee commit this early.
