'17' TN ATH Tee Higgins (Clemson commit)

That one worked. I don't like this taken from the article:

The 247Sports Crystal Ball points to Clemson as the favorite to land Higgins, who decommitted from the Vols on Feb. 4, with the Tigers getting 70 percent of the current predictions and the other 30 percent going to Tennessee.

Is Tee really going to leave us & go out of state to Clemson? I would not place the %'s they have that high for Clemson. I would say at this point it would be more like 50%-50%.

I would say 70-30 Vols even if he gives a verbal to Clemson. It seems exciting and fun to do something different when you are that age. But when the dust settles and comes time to follow through with his decision, I'd say it's going to be really hard to pull the trigger and leave a town where he could reach legendary status being that he's a local kid.

Once Tee re-ups here, those instate defectors will fall in line. [hopefully Amari Rodgers goes to Greenville anyway -- big mouth. Don't want.]

My cousin plays on the team with Tee. He says they have practice with Tee. Then they have practice without Tee. He says he is unstoppable so they have to pretty much say ok don't throw him the ball on this play.

It's not going to be a popular thing to say, but we've under preformed at this point. Period. Yes there's a lot of time to go, but at the moment not good. Higgins is someone you can't let get away. Thats all there is to it.

How do you figure that. If you go by what the book makers expect from us every year Butch is about right for wins. If you look at it strictly through ORANGE colored glasses when we expect the natty every year then we underperformed. By the way, if you have not scene, the guys in Vegas who make a living off wins and losses expect a big year for us this year. Let's hope they are right this year.

I think he's talking about underperforming in recruiting

We've underperformed in recruiting this year up to this point. Never said anything about on field results at all. Butch has performed as expected basically on field and has prefmored greatly in recruiting the past few years. But this year, up to this point...underperforming. But the good thing is it doesn't matter that much as we have a long ways to go.

I agree with this. Also agree that its early and were about to kick some @$$ this fall. That should help things pick up considerably when were in the SEC title game
