OH, nothing personal, but I loved Catlett failing at Clinton. IIRC, he left my former HS, Carter, in July or August to go to Clinton.

Who the heck does that to a group of High school kids?

A guy who doesn't know what the hell he is doing. However he passed me in the math class I needed to graduate without basically doing anything so I can't hate too much. Wait, yes I can lol.

See I was trying to pay you a compliment about how much I value your information. Maybe I was a little bit too strong with how I worded my post. I think where the confusion might be is the OC for oak ridge is a big uga fan. I'm not trying to make you out as a fraud just pointing out that when you make a statement like "his HEAD COACH is a huge uga fan," you might want to make sure that is exactly what he meant. Not that it matters. His head coach and his OC might have an equal impact on his decision or his OC might even have more. What I do know is you bring good information to this board. More than I do for sure, but when it comes to Knoxville area prospects and in particular oak ridge prospects I have some very good connections.

I went to Fulton in the early 80's. We were not very good, then. There were some good athletes, but the coaching was lacking. Then, Steve Brewer came to coach and we got better. Then, when Brewer left for Sevier County, Buck Coatney, came and they really started rolling. Buck has retired and now Rob Black is the coach and they have exceeded or will exceed the success that they had under Coatney. It is so much about coaching in high school. Steve Brewer won a state championship at Sevier County. They had some good athletes and a really great athlete at QB, but the team they beat in the Finals, Glencliff, was absolutely loaded, and superior coaching won the day.

Gaddis isn't the type to steer a kid in any direction. Not saying that his ties to those schools don't hurt ut but if tee wants to go to ut he will support his decision.

Amen to that i played for catlitt 2003-2004. 2004 is when he got fired half way thru the season. 2005 my senior year was coach shattucks first everyone was used to losing at clinton it took shattuck a while to turn it around. Catlitt was clinton's Dooley if u ask me.

But my Dad does know Joe Gaddis and ive been in 1 of those conversation were gaddis said he was a huge bama fan. Im not saying your wrong but hes told me bama in person, but anyway my dad works for one of the biggest Oak Ridge boosters ill check and see what the word going around on tee is and let yall know.
