'17' TN ATH Tee Higgins (Clemson commit)

Not really an accurate depiction. Their problem is with anyone who uses logic, facts, and reality. Another common trait is they play silly games of devil's advocate to make themselves feel intelligent to hide their insecurity of not belonging in adult conversations.

I think your second sentence proves my point.

I don't think that's a violation unless he's somehow getting money out of it. If it is a violation, it goes to show how dumb the NCAA rules are. What's wrong with wanting to see your jersey in the stands?

I would be willing to bet it's a violation. The NCAA doesn't want another company benefiting from the endorsement of a student athlete. Generally the athlete doesn't post this unless they're getting something out of it.

This bump was the clickbait needed to lure one of the 'keeping it real' football forum posters that bash everything Tennessee and props up everything and everyone that takes a jab at the program. Generally, a twiglike millennial with a man ban, beard, flannel shirt, trail mix in a ziplock bag, and a $5 effeminate drink from Starbucks. Enjoy the ensuing sh1tshow.
It's funny because this is exactly how I envision most of the posters who think we're doing great with 8 wins and expecting more is just plain irrational until Saban leaves or forever, whichever comes first. The hipster is the whipping post of many.

I doubt there are many who think 8 wins is "great."

And a Hillbilly guru is someone I envision that can't understand the difference between the chaos a coaching carousel creates by firing coaches every 4 or 5 years and proclaiming we have arrived with a nine win season (not 8). Not an either or scenario Jethro.

Unless we are now playing a Saban-coached Bama 4 times in regulation I have seen no one say 8 wins is our limit.

Me and you disagree a lot but...BOOM! You said that perfectly.

Worked for Bama. See Saban. I rest my case. You lost.

It is a violation. Can't sell college football jerseys with active players name on it. Player can't promote such a sale. Etc. kid just a damn idiot. Since Clemson is ncaas current love child nothing will happen they ain't trying to lose money

Ok there smart guy..what Saban level coach you see out there to hire, are there any? And do you really believe that UTightwad is ever going to shell out the kind of cash it takes to hire a coach like that if one were available? The answer to both questions is...hell no. So why fire Butch just to hire another dude to win 9-10 games a year? I'll tell you why..Just to satisfy the chaos loving Legion of the Miserables bloodlust.

Thank you. Now I found the rule in full context. I don't think that Tee has violated the spirit of the rule. If we're going to apply letter of the law, everybody who says to a friend "I like McDonald's" is in violation. I highly doubt Tee gets more than a slap on the wrist for this.

Wait, what? Why in the heck would he get a slap on the wrist if he hasn't violated any rules? You're contradicting yourself, or at the very least, back-tracking.
