Here's my take. If a kid who is a self professed Tennessee fan, who grew up 20 minutes from Knoxville, can watch that Florida post-game scene and not have your heart swell with pride, and want to be a part of that... then something is definitely wrong with you!

might have heard OUR fans booing at half-time as well
The worst thing that could happen is to have someone on our team that never wanted to be there in the first place. I know Halloween is coming but we need to quit digging this grave up or it could back to haunt us.![]()
Maybe. I watched from home, but here's the thing, I think most fans were disappointed with the decision to not try to get some points, a hail mary or something. I was disappointed too. I believe most who follow football, would know the crowd was not booing the players. That being said, for someone who does not want to come to Tennessee, for whatever reason, he would spin it however he wanted to, to justify his reasoning... some people have their minds made up and nothing (not even facts) will change it...

Some fans around me were booing and I asked them if they were out of their d--n mind. There is no logical reason to try to go down the field in that situation other than having a turnover and being in worse shape. Sometimes I wonder if those folks have ever been involved in football in their entire life.
This is why the average fan grinds my gears. I remember back in 2004 when we were 7-1 and had Notre Dame at home that year. Ainge was in his freshman year at QB. We were leading 10-7 at the half. Notre Dame had not moved the ball well up to that point in the game. We had the ball on our own 20 with under 30 seconds. Instead of taking a knee or running a dive play, Fulmer and Randy Sanders drop Ainge back to chunk one down the field. He gets drilled, injures his throwing shoulder and is out for the year. It wasn't until Ainge's junior year working with Cutcliffe were he resembled the QB he was before that play. Fans griped and complained about that play, and rightfully so. My point is you can't win with the masses. Their limited capacity only allows them to think in the here and now and not in the future. And in Saturday's case, the 2nd half were we got the ball after halftime. There is a reason coaches have the jobs they do, and fans get drunk and scream.
What just happened to Justin Hunter may happen to Tee if he doesn't learn how to block and have the physicality required of NFL receivers. It's just not a finesse league. What's ironic is after all the criticism w/Azzani's methods, they suddenly seem to be paying off for Malone and Jennings.
