Really? And where was this program 3 years ago? We have been picked preseason anywhere from 1-15 by most publications. We all would have taken being where we are now 3 years ago. Why must we make the playoffs to not be on the hot seat. It is one recruit. One that we all wanted. We have won in the past without Tennessee recruits. We will do it again.

Same here. I have no ill will towards these recruits. But I do now have ill will towards Clemson. ;-)

Not surprised. Dabo has a great program going right now. Can only hope Butch can find the same success.

voltil and GFW ect are good guys who got info from other recruits and those affiliated with the program. We see Coach Jones treet before the announcement. Put it all together and this kid committed to the staff it seems. Just like Hunter Johnson before him, he lied to the staff and was probably recruiting against us with his last visit just like Johnson since he said his mind was made up after the last Clemson visit. I was brought up to be straight up with people and have integrity because that is all you really have in the end. It is what helps to define good character. i would love to have talent like this but if the above is true, then guys like Kelly Washington do more harm than good for a program. If we win, that is all that matters. I do not like having a liar on my team and Dabo is a liar and cheater and learned from the Bear at how best to do it.

Screw Clemson and yes, Georgia Tech will upset them this year but I hope we fill our class with people that have talent and character. Bad character kills a program as much as lack of talent.

I am with you all the way on this! I was getting ready to post similar thoughts glad I read on before posting. Character is a big thing with me and I think Tee's is suspect. He most likely outright lied to the staff right up to today. I think most are giving Tee a pass on his actions because they want him on out team so badly. If he made up his mind at his last visit at Clemson which was before OCD why show up and according to all reports lead the coaches on. It's a long time to Feb but if it were me I would be through with Tee. He's made his bed let him lay in it.

And if you ask their fans specifically what the infractions were alleged to be, at least 90% will get a confused look on their face while they take another swig of Busch Light and giving you a "Roll Tide!" instead of an answer.

A lot of posters congratulating Clemson for getting Higgins. Half of this thread is posters gushing over Clemson on how great their program is on an Tennessee message board. Ya'll need to jump on the bandwagon then cause most kids are doing the exact same thing.

Good luck to the young man. But if he in fact did troll the staff, that's pretty telling IMO. Be upfront if you're going elsewhere. A Hunter Johnson type move IMO.

I can't wait to see Clemson get that butt kicked when Watson leaves. They're like Oregon a few years ago. It wont last.
