Should be a message board law against posting about a rising 9th grader.

The only message board law is follow Freak's guidelines...otherwise there is no message board law

Not saying you are wrong, I don't know this kid. But I was 6'4 215 when I started my 9th grade year. Granted, I was 6'4 225 my senior year; hit all of my growth spurt in middle school.
Yeah, sometimes these kids who get early attention from recruiters plateau early this dominating kids their age.

schools are out so hes not in 8th grade anymore. count him as a freshman and stop complaining about this thread. if it were 2 months from now, less people would care

This is insane....class of 2017? I don't care if all the coaches are doing it, if a coach shows up on my doorstep wanting to talk to my 8th grader, I'm gonna be creeped out.

I bet if butch walked up to your door step and your 8th grader was a badass qb you hear him out.

Yup.

If your a parent and you have college football coaches all a sudden stopping by to recruit your 8th grade son, it's happy days in most households. Knowing that college education is going to be paid for would be a very welcome thing. JMO

Not in our house. Playing game systems and being fat are all the rage. Maybe they are giving out Golden Thumb scholarships over @ EA Sports these days.

I really don't understand the excitement being raised just because the kid is an upcoming freshman

1. If he's being recruited by NCAA schools and could develop into a potential UT prospect then he should have a thread

2. Pretty sure the Berry Bros had threads established before they even made it into the 8th grade
