WAXHAW, N.C. - Wide receiver J.T. Cauthen (Waxhaw, N.C./Cuthberson) said Clemson leads Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina.

Cauthen has offers from South Carolina, Clemson, North Carolina, Charlotte, Western Carolina, Old Dominion and North Carolina State.

His quarterback, Austin Kendall, is committed to the Volunteers. Cauthen says that plays a factor.

“I’m trying to visit there soon,” Cauthen said of Tennessee.

I know this isn't his thread but watching Cauthen's highlights makes me even more excited about the Austin Kendall era. That kid is the real deal total package.

New interview with Adam Friedman of Rivals. Obviously, being a teammate of Vol commit Austin Kendall, he said there's a lot of talk about the two of them going to the same school, and that's a possibility, but it's still early.

He has recent offers from South Carolina, Kentucky and Clemson. He also mentions UNC and NC State. UGA and UCLA have shown interest and he believes UGA could be his next offer.

Cauthen said he definitely plans to visit Tennessee, Kentucky and South Carolina.
