It shouldn't be. This is a win with nothing to lose decision. We haven't been the favorite so winning should be icing on the cake. Oh and Ty Chandler is a Vol either way.

Well..The kid wants to play in a pro style. That is the biggest reason I think he goes to FSU. I think he likes UT, but will make the decision he believes is best for him. If he picks OM then..I just don't know what to say about that, other than he wants to represent his home. That would be the dumb pick imo. I think we have a chance, but in the end I just don't see it happening for us.

When Cam commits, CRG deserves a BIG pay raise. He's been recruiting Cam for a long time. Cam received his offer back in '14, and FSU just offered in Jan '16. He was at the Mizzou game in '14 and received an offer right after that. Been to Orange Carpet Day and has seen everything he needs to see. Getting him on campus once was big, but to get him there on numerous occasions says we are definitely a contender.

It happens at 8pm est. and will be streamed live. I don't have anything new this morning other than someone telling me not to rule out LSU.

I gotta give Akers and his family a ton of credit. They have kept everyone over the map with this thing.

I talked to someone this morning who said no way it's Ole Miss. I talked to another who said the Rebels could be a compromise and noted one of the companies listed on the tweet of Akers announcement time is a big donor to the Rebels.

I think the family has been in communication with the Vols in the last 24 hours. But I don't think anyone knows his decision.

I have a very strong feeling that Cam Akers shocks the recruiting world and puts on a Tennessee hat tonight. I've heard several sources very close to his recruiting with very encouraging news and at this point, it's hard not to say Butch isn't one of the better closers around the country. I'm not gonna say I'm 100% confident, but I would give it an 85% chance that we land this program changer tonight. 8pm can't get here soon enough.
