If he does not choose Tennessee, we will see quite a meltdown though too!

That spread sheet Larry put on recruiting thread does not look to good for us, but it would certainly help to land him!

Normally, yes. But it seems Akers camp has told multiple coaching staffs good news. That's where the confidence comes from on the UT side. It's why VQ mods keep saying it's UT or FSU and that CRG's relationship is huge here. Reading between those lines tells you that CRG has been told he's going to be a Vol. But it seems FSU and OM coaching staffs feel the same way.

Bottom line is that a couple coaching staffs have been misled and we'll find out who those are tomorrow night.

Edit: thought you were talking about the FSU board screenshot. My bad. Bad sign on the kid invited to the announcement? I don't see why that would be bad news.

Didn't Kongbo tell every school he was going there? I remember a post about USC coaches being very suspicious Butch told him to do it. I don't see what would be gained by a coach telling a recruit to that though.

Oh, no question there will be a meltdown here if we don't land him. VN LOVES a good meltdown, just check out the Corker thread.

But the meltdown won't be as bad as those other fanbases. FSU and OM fans are EXPECTING a commitment tomorrow kind of like we were for Corker. Difference is Corker is a 3 star CB, Akers is the #1 RB in the nation and instate for OM.

We all know it's a coin toss for UT and recruits lie to coaches all the time. At least that's how I feel. I won't meltdown, I'm not really expecting him to pick UT tomorrow to be honest. I think it's very possible he will but I'm not counting on it.

I would be disappointed but see no reason for anyone on this board to have a meltdown. Personally, I will take solace in that we have Ty Chandler committed to go with John Kelly next year.

no other meltdown other than Butch falling another year behins the SEC in talent...hope we get em, prove me wrong. But, no meltdown here. Kid is a Nole.

Wonder what all of these negative Nancy's will say tomorrow if Akers picks the Vols. 2 composite 5 stars and top 5 level players in the country committing to the good guys in December 🤔. Will be hard to still be down on recruiting, probably will just come in here shouting Vanderbilt repeatedly

Not going to even get close to a meltdown. Nega's would laugh and tell us so's. Posi's and realists would be disappointed but not shut the program down because Gruden turns us down...again. :)
