'17 MS RB Cam Akers (FSU commit 12/27)

I've tried to remain optimistic about landing Akers, but I'm starting to get a bad feeling about it. Hope it's just gas.

I am more convinced than ever that Akers will be a VOL. Can’t wait to see too freshmen carrying the ball for the big Orange next year.

Kelly and Kamara had no problem running behind our O-Line. Akers shouldn't have a problem unless he's another Hurd..

Fair point. But some players don't care about that. The way Cam has handled himself all recruitment I think shows he isn't all about the limelight. Doesn't mean he won't choose FSU though. Your guess is as good as mine at this point.

He is saying that two sources have confirmed that Akers is a Vol. I know he probably doesn't know anything, but today is Christmas and that means all positivity for me, thus, Sab is an insider and absolutely has first hand knowledge that Akers is a Vol!

Have no idea honestly where Akers is going, but Sab is the furtherest thing from an insider. He has a pretty weird history full of cease and desist letters and close to few restraining orders.

Part of me wondering if Sheppard is gwtting his info from Sab. Sheppard follows him (Sab) on Twitter and has been tagged in a lot of Sab's tweets.

In hoping for a late Christmas present but with Callahan and Barton Simmons CBing to FSU I'm doubting it happens

Our chances are very real in landing Cam, it doesn't mean we will. But I like our chances even though nationally FSU is the favorite. This recruitment is different than most, even the experts are mostly just making a best guess here. I wish him well wherever he goes, but landing Cam would be huge for the Vols!!!! GBO!!!!!
