He threw for less than a 70% completion percentage. If he wants to play RB for us, he needs to improve on that stat. He might have to throw 3 halfback passes while he is here. I just don't think that I want him.

Not a ton out there lately. The main contenders are UT, FSU, LSU, tOSU, and Ole Miss. Per Bama's 247 site, they aren't much of a serious contender at this point.

Is Cam Akers going to OV to Bama? Or has the ship sailed on him

He'll visit, I'm just not sure it'll be an official or not. The ship hasn't completely sailed, but I don't expect him to end up in the class as of today.

I’ve gone foggy on my 247Sports Crystal Ball forecast regarding five-star running back Cam Akers. Ohio State was my pick, but no question Akers could end up at Florida State, LSU or Ole Miss. Regarding the Tigers, Akers has been to Baton Rouge multiple times and both he and his family have clicked with Les Miles, Jabbar Juluke and the staff.

There is no Akers info to read right now, he is really good. Wiltfong didn't even have us in the four schools that have a good chance to sign him. That was the last info of any kind. No clear leader for Akers. You'll probably hear a number of different things on him between now and January, but he certainly hasn't named a leader, and I don't think there's a consensus on that right now. Akers still is planning to take an official visit to Tennessee. Based on what I've heard so far, it's probably going to be for the Alabama game.
