Exactly. Why not get both Akers & Chandler? A one-two puch like we have right now in Hurd & Kamara. We have one locked down so now let's try & get the other.

2) Bama recruits have flamed out to the tune of 4 NC's. So they're either not flaming hard enough or your definition is different than mine

I've mentioned previously that Brice and Callahan both concurred that this is exactly what we are pitching to Cam, and that he is receptive to the pitch.

If that happens with Akers and us, I have no problem with that. If he gets bumped down after committing to us, that may just lessen the amount of people who are recruiting him.

I don't see any reason we can't set our expectations that high. Lewis, Henry, and Stephens were all great backs we got in 1997 also. Great players aren't afraid of the competition.
