But also we are consistently playing tougher competition week in and week out and it really isn't even close.

Agree. I think it's a good discussion, some don't and that's fine. Of course Tennessee's schedule is harder the past few years.

I would argue this year (2016) though that it isn't any harder than osu's.

Maybe they'll get to play each other!

Yeah but they wore out and embarrassed Florida pretty bad. Maybe that is why since Florida won the SEC eastern division and played in Atlanta :). Be that as it may, I can't stand Michigan and their coach :).

OSU has Oklahoma, Michigan and Michigan State. The rest is nothing really, Wisconsin, Penn State, Nebraska, Indiana etc. I think Bama, UGA, Florida and A&M beats their schedule, jmo of course.

Edit; MSU really should not have been in the playoffs last year. They looked like North Western. Bama thumped the ####! out of them. Imo there are only two teams in the Bi10 that are pretty good, OSU and Michigan.

Playing at psu and wisky at night SUCKS regardless of their teams. Osu is both of those teams' respective Super Bowl. You may laugh at that premise, but I'm here to tell you it's real.

Hell osu almost (and perhaps should have) lost at psu they year they won the nc.

I see that Uga is on the road for you and tamu as well. I know tamu is rowdy too (not sure if it's a night game). I'm not saying you're wrong, but tamu sucks.....hard.

Yeah i get what your saying. Im sure they are hated by those schools. Didn't Virginia Tech beat them back in 2014? Also I think Penn State will tank this year and Franklin fired.

Yes. Osu lost to vt that year (at osu no less). Psu at night was the turning point in the season. RSFR QB at night really nutted up and took osu to the win. IMO that gave him the confidence to go to msu at the end of the year and win.

I think psu will have a similar record to last year and I hope they keep Franklin forever. Dude is just not a good coach.

VT's defense was good that night. It will be interesting to see how OSU does this year. I think Michigan will beat them. Their conference is extremely top heavy.

Penn State had one of the worst offenses I have seen last year. Me and, I think KBVol, were talking not to long ago about how Franklin seems little more than a cheer leader or motivator. He doesn't seem to be an x's n O's kind of coach.He is definitely one for those coaches that people thought was good but he's like a 5* bust. I think Penn State fans are getting frustrated with being 7-5. If he doesn't do something this year it wouldn't surprise me if they fired him. But you never know these days with Penn State lol.

Yes psu's offense was horrible last year. They fired the OC. Agree 100% that Franklin is clueless.

Hell, IMO the only coach worth a damn on that staff was the DC you guys took lol.

Yep I totally agree. Btw I think you guys have gotten a heck of an OC and o line coach. I know some here don't think so but I do. I know more about offenses than i do defense and I think that you guys might be surprised at how good it could be this year even with a freshman, if he starts.

the thing with giving saban a month to prepare for you is that you get a month on him. Butch seems to do pretty well when he has some time to prepare as well. (any good coach should really) and a big thing for us during the season is health. we don't have the depth like Bama does to absorb an injury or 10, so having a month for that would be bigger for us than for them. imo, jmo, bbq sauce. and this year is definitely more equal, or maybe advantage us idk, but the experience factor. having an extra month to coach up our young players is again a bigger advantage for us, than it is for Bama.
