Bruin and the other self loathing negavols that are defending his trash are saying the Akers is surely going to FSU because they are "Light Years" ahead of us as a program. Thanks for your useless contribution however.

I am not saying he is choosing Fsu. I am saying if he compares the programs based on brand Tennessee is at a decided disadvantage. That's obvious to anyone being a realist.

Tennessee comes in at # 7 for putting the most RB's into the league. Florida State does not even make the best of the rest list.

Vols vs FSU recruiting battle. Seems extremely relevant to me unless we are looking for a board that only discusses Tennessee and why Tennessee is getting every single recruit it wants.

A stupid snarky remark doesn't help your point. You guys keep moving the goalposts with your argument. Bruin's original contention is that FSU is 'light years' ahead of Tennessee. Including years where players and coaches are no longer with the program has no bearing on this assertion. If anything FSU has went from elite status to above average status. Where Tennessee went from a bad program to an average program. None of the past has any relevance on where either program stand as of today.

If FSU isn't an elite program then Bama must be the only one by your definition. IMO FSU is damn sure one of the elite programs in the country. Number 3 IMO behind Bama and Ohio State at the present.

That would be really stupid. Pick a school because they have their first good running back in, what, 30 years? Not researching schools to see which ones routinely put running backs into the NFL?

I'm not buying that. I'm not saying he's not going to FSU, but that would be about the most dumb assed reason for doing it.

If their goal is to have the best chance of getting to the NFL as a RB, my guess is that at some point they look at the schools that produce the most NFL RB's.

JMO of course, but, me thinks we may not not give enough credit to some 17-18 year olds. Yes, the average 17-18 year old may not be able to. The 17-18 year old that plays high school football and is striving for a NFL career probably knows more names than some of us old timers are willing to give credit for.
