It's a trend I think because Shoop is looking for the LB/S combo type player, maybe to play the STAR or WILL position in his defense.

It's all about getting downhill with speed with Shoop's defense. And if we're in a lot of quarters coverage, as I expect we'll be, LBs (and the STAR/Nickel) have to pick up receivers coming over the middle.

So anyways,yeah, that's is why I'm not surprised fleet-footed LBs are trending towards us.
