'17 FL WR KJ Hamler

Looks like hes from Michigan (maybe played on a bad team?) but transferred to IMG for his sr year. Plays well for his size, didn't see much at defensive back but showed good instincts pursuing the ball. With his speed he could develop into a nice WR. Also a decent threat as a returner. Could be a nice steal!

Wonder why no offers from the Florida schools.

"I plan on taking official visits and Tennessee could possibly be one of my official visits. And I have family down there, too, so they could look out for me," Hamler said. "One of main reasons I'm interested is because coach Azzanni coached Antonio Brown and Antonio Brown is one of my favorite receivers. If he can make him a superstar I think he can make me a superstar as well.

"I know they also have one of the top fan bases and one of the top stadiums as well. One of my friends, John Kelly, is actually a running back there, too."

As noted by his ability to easily on punt returns, Hamler said he's been described as a game-breaking wide receiver.

"Most definitely electric. Coach Azzanni said he would want to get me in space a lot and give me the ball a lot as well," Hamler answered, when asked to describe his game. "Speed, quickness and elusiveness. And I'm a smart player and a coachable player as well."

Wide receiver KJ Hamler (Bradenton, Fla./IMG Academy) said Oregon has the edge.
He said Oregon, Arizona and Tennessee will receive official visits that he knows of.

Tennessee has been in consistent commutation.

"Great coaches," Hamler said. "The only reason I'm interested in them is because (Volunteers coach Zach Azzanni) coached probably the best receiver in the league right now in Antonio Brown. If he can coach him like that he can coach me like that to be better."
