If we are the first of a long list of big time schools to offer a player a scholarship, is that a sign of good recruiting or bad?

If we are the first big time school to offer, then obviously the player's offer list will look "weak".

If we offer a player that already has multiple offers from big programs, then the statement would be "What took so long? Butch is getting lazy."

There is no winning with some of you....you're mind is made up and you will manipulate everything to fit your agenda.

Give it a break.

For the record, that edit was 100% made by the UT football staff. If anyone was thinking we may not take his commitment, that pretty much seals it. We wouldn't send that if we weren't taking his verbal.

Based oh Rogers dad posts and his attitude I'd say Rogers will decommit if another SEC offer comes

Looks like he'll probably get some more big offers. I see Louisville on his team list on 247, not sure what that means, but with that auburn offer seems likely he's worth a look in a big boy conference. I could foresee tight end being a vital position on offense next year. Hope we hang on to Chase as well.

Why doesn't this thread say commit? Did Tn not take it? According to 247, they did when he called the coaches. Has he backed off?

You know what's funny.

Everyone Killing Jalen Hurd about being selfish and then turn around be generally concerned about a TE commit that may have some competition in his own recruiting class.

This is exactly what breeds a prima Donna mentality.

You really wanna play for a great program, be ready to compete, don't expect hand outs.

So what you're not the only TE commit in this class.
