Unfortunately, even after seeing the results of the previous recruiting classes...some fans ***** and moan rather than show patience and trust. The Tennessee coaching staff has climbed out of the hellish gorge that kiffin/dooley left us in. It is nothing short of miraculous how quickly these coaches have forged a high caliber SEC team.

It is also unfortunate that the legion of the miserable has survived to spawn a new generation. These coaches and players deserve better than mid-level big 10 fans. You should root for the school that your wife went to...leave rooting for the Vols to actual Vol fans. :hi:

I like this guy a lot! He's tall, capable of being around 210-215 pounds coming in, and if his 40 time is really a 4.50 he has great speed! Would be a good back up plan if Chandler and Akers don't happen. I trust all of butch's evaluations on this recruiting class. I can name so many guys that were 4 & 5 star guys that aren't with Tennessee anymore. Butch has really had more 3 star guys work out than 4 and 5 star guys! Emmanuel mosely, cam Sutton, josh smith, etc. are some really good examples on how Butch's evals have been. We should trust butch with how this class is turning out, and I believe that Fant, Murphy, Gray, Crosby, Gaddy, Moore, Henderson, Labruzza, Bumphus, and Cotman can all be moved up or remain at 4 stars. That's 10 guys that I think will probably be 4 stars when it's all said and done. I think Fant and Higgins are really not that far apart talent wise. Fant is just a little more raw, but he can develop into just as good a receiver as Higgins. I know it's a bit worrisome, but still can have a good top 10-15 class which is very respectable! A LOT of these 3 stars will be moved up to 4 stars! Mark my words!!!! Lol
