Totally fair point, but did he have that much to sell under Al Golden when he landed Byrd?

So are UF and FSU. And Al Golden was a dead man walking when Scott landed Byrd at Miami.

I like Scott, but he's been a disappointment on the recruiting trail this cycle. He's one of our 3 best recruiters right now. Do you think he'd be top 3 at UGA, Bama, LSU, or Auburn?

We've gotta make sure we bring in some guys who can cruit when we restructure this staff.

He was asked about his leaders at the Under Armour practices and didn't mention Tennessee. Not really any smoke from VQ or 247 about him having interest in us.


Maybe that changes before signing day. But we're on the outside looking in right now.
