I like this guy's film. The first three plays on his highlights are perfectly thrown deep balls. Guy has a huge arm it appears, which would be obvious since he's a baseball player, but his arm looks great. When he takes off, he's very fast. Man, you never know, Lamar Jackson was a 3*. If he's serious about football he could blow up. I hope we land him!
After he wins the Alabama 5A state championship, it will be a done deal. The last QB, UT had from the Mobile area won a natonal championship. Plus, he will greatly improve the baseball team, so mark my words, the next commit will be - Bubba, guaranteed!
How we go from recruiting a top QB, to looking at QB who has an offer from Troy
This kid put up crazy numbers in 7A Alabama football. That is no small task. Over 30 touchdown passes and less than 5 interceptions in an entire high school season is incredible. Couple that with his rushing numbers, and leading his team to a state championship and you have a great prospect that just needs to be molded a bit. By most services Dobbs was a 3 star, and we saw how he turned out.

Need at least one QB in every class IMO. Not getting an elite this cycle, so take a project with upside. Actually has a good release and touch on the long ball with a live arm. Stands in the pocket well. Will have difficulty seeing over lineman and remains to be seen if he can move in the pocket enough to find the passing lanes or look off DB's. Looks to have good quickness to run the read option.
