I feel pretty good about landing this guy. Second trip up here on his own dime? We will definitely give him a good senior day show, and I wouldn't be surprised with anything here. I'd say he may end up starting college as a QB and a baseball player. Good thing we're decent in baseball lol

If Bubba is doing the teeniest of research, he should be able to glimpse a potential situation where he's THE BACKUP to a first year starter who couldn't physically complete his last two years of high school football. If he's as competitive as it appears, that has to be a sundae for us. :)

I watched this kid's film and admittedly I know very little, but he looks to have a very strong arm, throws a nice deep ball, and when he runs, he's fast! Looks very fast. Anybody know the level of competition he's playing? If he wants to play football he may have some real potential, if he is developed.

I would say he plays against pretty solid competition since his high school is a class 7A school. That would be my guess. Of course, not all 7A schools are good but most are at least decent teams especially in Alabama.

He'll provide depth behind JG and before the 2018 QB. Who knows, maybe he'll surprise us. He's obviously a great athlete and has a strong arm

Strong strong arm and really accurate, gotta believe he is better than the rankings show...which seems to be the only focus of most on this board!

Would be a huge pickup for us and good depth, he would have a real chance to play imo

He picked up our offer and Ole Miss right at the same time. I feel like he's not gonna "blow up" as most schools have their QB commit, but those that don't like us and Ole Miss will fight for him. Great athlete, big arm, leading the best team in Alabama to a likely state title.

Some kids in our class may be "reaches" or "projects", I feel like this kid would be a good get. Watch the tape, understand he likely runs a sub 4.5 40, and also understand he probably won't start for at least 2-3 years. Why (if we take him) is this such a bad thing? Star ratings? He will be between an 86-89 composite player by signing day IMO. He wasn't rated by most services as most thought he was going the baseball route.

We picked up quite a few CBs for him, so that's at least a positive development. I'm sure we can sell him on being able to play baseball and football here. Baseball team could certainly use him.

Honestly the o-line has played immensely better the last few weeks. I know it's Kentucky and Missouri, but they really shut down Charles harris. They are also doing it without their best lineman in Weisman.
