Yes, the Buckhorn Bucks are located about ten miles from the TN border. Right down the road from me. I will drop off him off a big bag of Tennessee $.

Clemson only does that. They gave Tee a big 'ol bag. One so heavy Tee needed help carrying it. LOL! :p

He's almost as close to Knoxville as he is to Tuscaloosa and Auburn. Only a few miles from the Tenn border.

While it is close its largely irrelevant. I'm from Elora which is the other side of the border and despite it being tennessee all you get is bammer radio and TV on the local news. And it was closereally to Tuscaloosa than Knoxville for me.

That being said go get it if for no other reason than to stick in the craws of the sea of fair weather fans down there.

please god we need depth

We need linebackers period. As in a starting GROUP of linebackers. Then we could consider this "depth" everyone spews about.

A first-team starter. Then a second-team player who could spell the starter occasionally. Nextly, a kid with great talent but isn't needed to play so he can redshirt barring injury to the starter.

Other than Kirkland, who fits the bill of a starter? Who fits the bill of a legit second team guy? Who are we redshirting? I'd say we are sorely lacking at every linebacker spot (except maybe one, DK Jr), and this kid (and several more kids just like him) could walk into playing time Day One @ Tennessee. The question is.... Why don't the top linebackers in the Nation see this?

I'd say we've either missed on some linebackers or we're not developing inexpensive linebackers. We've recruited well from a rankings perspective but they aren't developing or they've been moved to DE. Sapp was supposed to be a real contributor his year and he's lost for the season. Bituli is supposed to be the next Kirkland.

We had a couple of undersized legacies at LB that we really needed to offer a scholly. Turns out, when running a 4-2-5 defense, the two LB's need to be super stud tackling machines. Bates & Berry are both on the small side.

If we can get Bituli & Kirkland out there, I think we will see a huge improvement in the numbers.

I am still waiting on these facts that BleedingOrange and 31 are talking about. How do you all know what the kid is thinking? Are you him? Uncertainty is all we know. We don't know what this kid is thinking. We only know what he says. If you want to state your opinion as fact, you should hear my facts about you all.

I could come on here and say "he's not coming here" for every single recruit tony posts a thread for and be right 80+% of the time. Does not mean I am stating facts.

Looking at our situation now, and thinking about our incoming class, it's a hard choice between Will and Trey. Each are a dire need in their own right, just based off of their position. As we recruit over a lot of guys that we currently have, those two are a must get. At LB, we do have DKJr and Jumper coming back. On the OL, we have Richmond playing alot better at LT. If Trey signs here, it's gonna be a good step toward tightening up this OL.

Watching Al's film, the thing that stood out to me was his angles to the ball. He doesn't overrun the ball and gets there in a hurry. He's plenty fast enough to cover in space.

Trey's favorite meal must be breakfast cause all he gets is pancakes. :D
