'17 AL LB Will Ignont (UT commit 10/26/2016)

FTR, what kind of character concerns are we talking here? Your standards for "major" character concerns are...um...a little out of line with most of us, I'd say.

I've heard he claims to worship The Sleeper of R'lyeh to make salient points about religion and politics. So, you know, he's a real a&$hat.

Honestly, you think he has character issues and that's a you issue. I'm sure Jones knows more than anyone but hopefully he will contact you for a risk assessment.

I know his family and I know of him. He will announce for UT tonight and he has absolutely no character issues. Whoever told you that was full of ****.

Bruin...Bruin...Bruin. Bless your heart you just can't enjoy anything can you?

Now back to the boom feast that is about to happen!

"It was a decision made by me and my mom that is simply best going forward for me and my future," Ignont wrote in a text message.

Ignont, a 6-foot-2, 238-pound Alabama and Auburn target, transferred to IMG in January after his first season as a full-time linebacker for Buckhorn. He recorded113 tackles, including six for a loss, and he had 300-plus yards rushing and six touchdowns. Ignont was a 1,000-yard rusher as a sophomore.

Ignont tweeted on April 2 that his top-10, in order, are: Georgia, Auburn, UCLA, Michigan, Alabama, LSU, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Florida and Miami.

"Momma knows best," Ignont told WHNT 19. "I didn't always listen to her or I felt like I knew everything. But really just being down there and being away from her made me realize how special of a woman that I do have. And you only get one mom. So this made me cherish her and cherish the moments that I have with her."-AL.com

...sounds to me like he was just homesick

I wouldn't mind taking four linebackers if we had room and were able to land four quality ones, but if Burnqm isn't going to be a part of this class, Ignont, Henderson, and Page would be a solid haul IMO. One bigger run stopper and two athletic guys who can play in space.
