Kid still has plenty of opportunities. He should take a hard look at SMU & Houston. Chad Morris will have SMU on the rise and we've already seen evidence of Tom Herman turning things around at UH.

herman is just elevating Houston. They have been good for a while.

He is responsible for some of their recent recruiting success. He's already nabbed a 5 star DT and another 4 DT. I know they've had less than stellar talent since Sumlin left, so this is kind of uncharted territory for Houston in terms of recruiting. Sumlin was recruiting well for UH, but not this well and not this well so early. I think he's going to be another great coach. Perhaps even better than Briles & Sumlin...which is scary. Who knows. Time will tell.

No need to panic before NSD 3 or 4 more will flip to another school but we will flip 3 or 4 to us happens every year, weed out the weak and bring in the strong.

It's going to be hard for both schools to hold on to those two for more than 2 yrs

No disrespect, but I honestly didn't know he was committed in the first place and I keep pretty close tabs on recruiting. A bit on the shorter side for jones and jancek I assume.

Best of luck to him, seems to have a good head on his shoulders (after all, he did choose UT in the first place).

People can complain about that strategy, but it ensures that you get good players. This is big time college athletics, and the kids can change their minds, too. Butch knows what he is doing.

At the same time if anyone on here questions a commitment Butch Jones takes the board goes crazy defending it. Thankfully I guess Butch Jones and staff are not so proud that they will not cut ties when they feel they have misevaluated a prospect.

i didn't. think he had the size UT has been going after and i didn't expect him to end up in tbis class.But fans here are always the same in assuming that CBJ told him to look elsewhere maby be decided go look on his own.It was mentioned a few weeks ago i think when he went to a camp at alabuma.I just thought it was worth bringing up.
