Ok bUT the fact remains he is wrong. He said he hadn't heard JG named Rutgers his leader, which is comical because not only did JG say it himself at the Rivals camp this weekend but the headline declaring it was splashed all over rivals whether one had a premium account or not. The "fail" in this case lies at the feet of Mr. Insider.

The question was asked if he named Rutgers his leader "just to keep the locals happy".

Just because he hasn't heard anything about Rutgers being #1 doesn't make him wrong...it just makes him not as informed about what every recruit says to various recruiting sites.

True insiders don't really keep up with all the recruiting websites if you ask me because they have real information and they don't need to supplement themselves with other secondary sources of information.

As for the Rutgers comments by JG. When he says Rutgers is #1, you can't really infer very much from those comments because his father played at Rutgers, and it's his homestate and they have recruited him hard.
It is likely that he is just respecting his homestate and his dad by naming Rutgers #1. tOsu and UT are the real choices for a kid with his talent, and his dual threat skillset abilities.

Our roster is littered with players that were either already committed or had named someone else their leader (to a stray internet camera at a skills camp).


All before Butch took em to a basketball game! :yu:
