This time last year for Jarrett Stidham it was 80% CB for Texas Tech...Baylor's real excited about his future. :)

So with that reasoning we should expect him to commit to OSU any day now as they are the CB leader by a wide margin. Then in December he will flip to Rutgers. Sounds reasonable.

You're no good at this...Appalachian State lock. :yess:

Our committed QB is waivering so we should shut down recruiting QBs to make him feel more comfortable.

Oh but we screwed up by not recruiting other tackles when we went all in on Drew richmond.

Can we stop quoting this guy already?

It does appear that when Butch stopped pushing for Drew is when Drew made the call to Butch. Had he done it sooner, Drew may have committed in Oct. Jmo

Would also appear that we were the only one's that "stopped pushing" for Drew...Butch disregarded our well-meaning advice and stayed available. He never gave up and now Tennessee is reaping the benefits of Butch's recruiting strategy. IMHO FWIW USSR URI

He would do well, I'm sure.. The 3 QBs we have committed for this year are tailor made for our style IMO. I wouldn't say he's bettr than all 3 just yet.

I just watched his soph and junior film yesterday and if theres a better fit out there i havent seen it. Kids film is some of the best ive seen. His deep ball touch is beautiful and he can definitely make plays with his feet. Super impressed with kendall

this, people just want the 'sexier' QB style that runs more. Kendall is exactly what we need.

Exactly.great post!.and I don't want a run first QB and pretty sure Butch doesn't either. It's a QB pass first offense with enough keeps by the QB on the read option to keep defense's honest..definitely don't want our QB running it more than ten or so times in this conference. And as reckless as Dobbs is with his body as far as not sliding and taking some vicious hits trying to go toe to toe with with a defensive player is a recipe for standing on the sidelines injured. We have 2 5* RB's, let them do their job and let our QB get it into the hands of all those WR's we have. The fans that think a run first QB is what this offense needs is crazy and couldn't be further from the truth. Definitely not a league you want your starting QB taking that many hits a game. If they want that then they should go watch and pull for GA Tech, Navy, Army, Air Force and a few others. Don't know many spread offenses that want a QB running more than he passes or more carries than RB's. Definitely wouldn't be going 4-5 wide every play if that was the case. I would put Kendall in the same mold as a Heath Shuler and he would be an ideal QB for our offense. And hearing some question who Butch brings in at QB and saying he isn't what what this offense needs at QB are also wrong..Obviously he isn't going to bring in or recruit a QB if he isn't a good fit..Worley would have been the least likely guy they probably would have recruited but yet won the job both yes. So they have shown they adjust to what their strengths are. And really Worley wasn't a complete statue like Peyton or some other just pure passers. Every QB Butch has and is bringing in can all run and have mobility.

You don't think an insecure QB afraid of competition could be a preseason all-SEC QB for us like Dobbs is? Off-topic what's Riley Ferguson up to these days?

Living in his mom's basement. As much as the media slobbered over that guy, you would think he would've gotten his shot if he hadn't been brain dead stupid. At worst he would be backing Dobbs up this next year.

It's funny because if Ferguson was still here, likely we don't even take Sheriron Jones and he maybe the best QB of the three.
