"It was great. That was my first game there and it was a great atmosphere. Tennessee is a little louder but they still had it rocking. It was a great atmosphere afterwards too. You like to see those guys cheering and stuff after. It was real cool too with my brother being there, hanging out with him and seeing him a part of that team. He's actually grown a lot," Kendall told CatsPause.com.
The weekend trip was not the North Carolina natives first time in the Bluegrass.
"I've been at Kentucky twice before now so I've seen the facilities and everything. I got to work out with coach [Neal] Brown at a camp. I've seen everything. I just toured around with coach Brown and everything. I know the campus. I like it a lot."
He likes the atmosphere in Lexington.
"It's a good vibe. I've been with my brother there before. The people are great there. It's pretty nice too," he said.
Ryan Kendall would love for his younger brother to join him in Lexington but he knows that the signal caller has to do what is best for him.
"When I was trying to make my decision, he was already going there as a walk-on. Kentucky was more of the same style of offense too. He would love for me to go there but he just wants my decision to be my decision but he wants me to go to school with him. He's going to be okay with whatever decision I make," the younger Kendall explained.
Despite his commitment, the 4-star made it clear that he appreciates Kentucky and other schools continuing to recruit him.
"Obviously, it is two years from now before I go anywhere and a lot of things can change. [Offensive coordinatorNeal Brown] told me I'm one of their top guys as well. They are not going to stop recruiting me because a lot can happen in two years. I respect that too. I have a relationship with [he and*Mark Stoops] too. I like the fact that they won't stop recruiting me just because a lot can still happen."
Like Tennessee, Kendall could see himself excelling in the Kentucky offense.
"Just like when I committed to Tennessee, they are a spread offense too. Here at Cuthbertson, we are a spread offense, no huddle, just getting to the ball, trying to get as many snaps in as you can and look down the field. I definitely like it fast. I want to continue that in college."
Kendall is considering a return to Lexington for the Georgia game.
"My mom really wants to go to that to see Ryan again."
He is also considering going to the Kentucky-Tennessee game in Knoxville and Alabama-Tennessee game in Knoxville.
