If it makes you feel better I think you will lose.

I'm going to make him ecstatic...Georgia will murder you! And set your program back 20 years! :aggressive:

Eh meh. I don't feel great about the prospect of ever losing a game. But I can be realistic. Lest I want to off myself given that a loss is inevitable in our future at some point. I think it'll be a good game, we'll score...they'll score (hopefully not a lot) more due to our defense being less than excellent. We'll do better than Auburn did against them last year at least.

I hope they set us back 20 years! We won a few national titles just about 20 years ago. Bump us back to a couple years before that happened and then repeat it? Hell yes please.

I'm a Georgia Southern guy. Genuinely curious, what do you know about us that makes you think we can beat Georgia AT Georgia. Georgia is not in a similar situation to the Florida team we beat. We have a shot against WVU but I'm not sold on that, let alone UGA.

This kind of goes with my above statement. Georgia has a Heisman level runningback. Matt Breida is an amazing talent (speed for daaaaaays) but even I can admit he isn't Nick Chubb. I just don't get why you'd think we will win that game for any reason other than you'd like us to (thanks for that by the way, I like to think anyone who hates UF is our bro now).

Willie Fritz is a damn good coach. He will have GSU ready. You all loss some lineman, but I still think you all can beat UGA.

The Dawgs should be very good this year if they can stay healthy. I expect a really good game between us.

That whole "healthy" thing .. haven't been able to do that for three years. I think that's a big reason why they cleared out their S&C group and brought in some new blood. UGA has to have had (and I have no numbers to back this but daum, seriously!?!) vastly more ACL injuries than most CFB teams in the country. And to their marquee names every year. Murray, Gurley, Marshall, Mitchell, Scott-Wesley among others. Sucks watching a talented team get new lockers at the hospital.

Yep. Two years ago was a disaster. Ya'll got hit bad with injuries. Then last year you lose the best back in the league.

I am not a Georgia fan but lets face it Ga Tech was extremely lucky to beat Georgia last year and it basically took a miracle for them to do it. Georgia can always beat Ga Tech but once in a blue moon Ga Tech will win. The game in Knoxville with Georgia should be epic this year!! I would say the winner takes home the East not disrespecting Missouri. But in the SEC anything can happen.

And Mizzou shouldn't feel disrespected .. they have just lost so much that can't be replaced without big time recruiting in less than a couple of years.

I am with you, that game this year in Knoxville should be instant classic type stuff if both teams come in healthy. Let's just hope, regardless of who wins, both leave this time still healthy. Hate seeing kids on any team get their year or career taken from them by injuries. :good!:

Why do you expect them to be good? Outside of Chubb, what are they bringing to the table?

Outside of Chubb? Did you see the improvement on defense last year with a depleted secondary? And now the defense will be that much better one year later. Everyone talks about breaking in a new QB this year, but guess what, UGA did the same thing last year but this year, it will be a far more talented QB to break in. WRs are healthy finally, and at RB, its WAY more than just Chubb. Keith Marshall is finally back to being 100% and Michel will be too and AJ Turman would start on 80% of the teams in the country and he is healthy also.

UGA has a lot more than just Chubb. Teams don't get preseason rankings with just a really good RB.

You should have a pretty solid Oline also. That will help tremendously with a first year starting QB.

You lost credibility talking about GSU beating UGA .. and the whole "every football team in America gets injuries" thing just proves my point even more. Most teams in America couldn't recover to have ONLY a 3 loss season if they had a Todd Gurley suspended for 4 games then lose him to injury the very game he comes back. What you're talking is just nonsense

Yeah and whether it's one QB or the other both have been in the system for a bit so they know the playbook now. We shall see.. Every team has to break in a new QB sometime right?

I am trying to figure out which guy on defense (at this point, I think it might be Lorenzo Carter) they will have spying Dobbs because if they don't, gonna be a lot of chasing him down field.

And you lost all credibility when you made fun of another fan base for not winning a championship since 1998 when your own hasn't won anything since the 80s. You should stop talking now.

I remember...was in Chattanooga when Erk Russell and Tracy Ham brought your boys out of nowhere. Ever drink out of that creek? :yuck:

No doubt you guys are the clear favorite to win the East. Anything less would be considered a disappointment.

No one seriously is marginalizing your team TDawg. We just have some 2-year old self-inflicted wounds that are all but mended. And we're coming into Neyland with a bad attitude when we see you next.

Therein lies the problem, you all always have an "X" loss season when you all are pre season favorites to win the SEC. I don't know why people pick you guys to win anything ever.

Regarding Gurley, He shouldn't have been playing in the 4th quarter any way. The game was well in hand.

Oh I know. Which is also a pretty good explanation for the butt whoopin Iowa got handed to them in the bowl game.

And just like in that conversation, you jump in and it's totally over your head. My point then was it is meaningless for someone who's last title was 17 years ago to poke fun at some team who's last title was 35 years ago when we are talking about recruiting since the kids that are being recruited now weren't alive for either. It's a wash. I didn't start that battle either, I was on the receiving end when it started.

Not against Florida I didn't... and Dawg fans have been leaning on the injury excuse for the last two years now. Even if it's valid, it's getting old. I do expect you to be very good again on offense, however.

17 vs 20 years might be meaningless. 17 vs 35 years isn't, especially considering the loads of talent within your own borders...even in your own backyard in the metro ATL area. JMO of course.
