I'm not too worried either. Mom cancels a set meeting with uga ppl on wed totally out of the blue.

And this doesn't look too bad either :)

So is this for real? Can we start booming or what?

We know you can forge your own path, and this is the glory that awaits you in Neyland.

For those of you who don't know, this game was close until Nigel's father, Dale Carter broke this game open at the start of the 2nd half with a 90 yard kick return and followed it up with 2 interceptions.... a true gator killer.

Nigel we have been waiting 26 years for you. Please come home to Tennessee.

On a side note, I always like Ron Franklin. Probably one of my favorite announcers of all time.

Cool story bro moment of the day - I just left my job at Publix in Towne Lake (Woodstock, GA) and I worked in the deli and I served Carl and his mother many times as they are frequent customers there. Lol

Auburn helped itself during an official visit that concluded Saturday morning, according to the mother of touted 4-star safety Nigel Warrior of Suwannee (Ga.) Peachtree Ridge.

“It was a great visit — it was really good,” Tangie Warrior told AuburnUndercover. “It was good for him to spend time with the new coach and the players there. In my opinion, I think they helped themselves. It was helpful for him to interact and get a feel for the new coaching staff. That was his first overnight visit there.”

The 6-foot,186-pound Warrior, a Tennessee Vols legacy, is the No. 2 safety in the 247Sports rankings.

Auburn has made him a priority and managed to land an official visit, which began Thursday. When reached Saturday morning, Warrior’s mom said they were headed to Alabama for his fourth official. Next weekend, they will hit Tennessee.

The Warriors left Auburn early Saturday and Nigel was sleeping in the car when we reached his mother.

What stood out at Auburn?

“I guess the welcoming and the relationship — the family oriented relationship they have,” Tangie Warrior said. “I mean, it was just all around a great visit. They showed a lot. They really embraced him and were appreciative of him coming. They told him how they would really like to have him there.”

Another plus: Warrior liked Auburn’s Kinesiology program.

“That really stood out — that was great to see,” Tangie Warrior said.

While at Auburn, Warrior spent lots of time with early enrollee Kyle Davis, a heralded receiver, and Marlon Character, an Auburn commit from Atlanta also on a visit. Among players already on the roster, his mother mentioned Carlton Davis and Joshua Holsey as people Warrior hung out with during the visit.

“I think — in my opinion — it would be a good fit for him,” Tangie Warrior said.

She added, “I think they’re in the race. On a scale of 1 to 10, I will say they’re right at an 8 or 9. Them as a whole. I think they represented the school really well. They really do. The school, the coaching staff — from what we’ve seen it’s a great place to go and study and play ball.”

Lol my phone shows five beers. A five beer player! I like it 😂

Bama only team to worry about and that was more when Kirby was there. Pruitt hire hurt them

Yep, from mom it almost sounded like he was headed to Bama to play for Kirby until Kirby left. But Kirby at Georgia didn't help them because he would be the head coach instead of the DC. And they weren't too wild about Pruitt.

Might also want to remember that the head coach is on a pretty hot seat headed into next season. Wonder if a possible coaching change would influence their decision? It would mine.
