Which is strange. I had a good friend from high school who had to go to East Tenn St because he was a criminal justice major. It's a common major for a flagship state university not to have.

Not entirely true. You can major in sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice and Criminology at UT.

UTK has a criminology and criminal justice track at the undergraduate, masters and doctoral levels. Many UT students get a liberal arts degree with this specialty and go on to UT College of Law.

I didnt know a single person at UT Law who had a criminal justice degree from anywhere. Not saying there weren't any but I didn't know them if there were.

If you know any who are planning on it tell them to call me and I'll tell them how (financially) stupid it is to go to law school to become a criminal defense attorney.
