#21 Overall and a 5 Star in the new Scout 300

Nigel Warrior is a premiere defender in the secondary. Not many track the ball like he does. He is a little light, but do not let that fool you — he can hit and play physical. His strength is picking off passes, his ability to cover, and his instincts. Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Oregon, and Tennessee are all in the hunt for the new five-star.

I have a sneaky feeling we get a boom here in the next couple weeks.

Butch was holding this one in his back pocket for a signing day boom but with some of the recent "negative" recruiting news he may want to release it sooner than later to get the conversation back in the right direction down the stretch.

READY TO BOOM!

Supposedly Breon Dixon told UGA's 247 site that Tennessee has the momentum with Warrior. Can anyone confirm?

Yeah here is the quote:

Mecole started to like Alabama a lot recently, especially because of Kirby, so when he came to Georgia, it was a no-brainer for him. I think Tennessee has the momentum, for Nigel (Nigel Warrior), with all the coaching changes, but UGA and Alabama are really up there in contention for him."

I think the coaching movement between UGA-Bama has solidified Warrior for us. I think Warrior has been feeling Bama a bit, but its been said he didn't connect with Pruitt, so that should knock them out. UGA may jump into that #2 spot, but it may be too little too late for them.

In regards to Mecole, its pretty plain to me we are running 3rd here right now. He loves UGA and he loves Pruitt. Not sure how we overcome both those obstacles.

OV has stated that it is his belief that we are still running in 2nd, presumably to UGA (IMO, not his, as he didn't state the leader).

Thought was about Mecole?

Think OV stated we were second for Mecole back before all the coaching turnover. I strongly believe Pruitt jumping to Bama has put us into 3rd here. Sucks, but I also believe it could have helped us with Warrior, so I'll take it.
