Ultimately, Tennessee still seems in the market for at least one, if not two, more defensive back. The obvious name on the list is Nigel Warrior and while the Vols remain in the thick of it, Georgia and Alabama are just as much factors as well. We don't expect a conclusion to that recruitment for some time.
Statements like this are so dumb. Sooo many plays that easily could have gone our way and we win that game. Do it the same way and expect that next time Ellis catches either of those two passes, Mosley doesn't dumptruck a WR in the back of the endzone, our defense brings their QB down when they get easy opportunities, our WRS beat press coverage, etc etc etc. Players make the plays they know they should make and none of this teenager drama overreaction even happens.
Safety Nigel Warrior, one of the states top uncommitted prospects, will be at the Ole Miss-Alabama game this weekend and should be accompanied by two of his Peachtree Ridge High School teammates, Breon Dixon and DeAngelo Gibbs.
The 4-star has UGA among his top schools. He mentioned the Bulldogs among the schools which were recruiting him the hardest in the above video. He will attend the UGA-Alabama game next month.
Warrior mentioned in the interview that he has noticed pros and cons in how UGAs defense has played this year.
Tennessee is also a top contender for Warrior, and he made the trip to Knoxville for the Oklahoma game on an unofficial visit. Warrior, the son of Tennessee great and NFL veteran Dale Carter, had a pretty powerful statement about the Vols.
I think theyre doing a great job of reeling me in right now, he said.
He said hes still only got official visits in mind to Oregon and Ohio State, but has yet to schedule the exact dates for those trips.

Peachtree Ridge senior Nigel Warrior is one of the top safeties in the nation.
Okay. The fact of the matter is, we lost. We quit doing what worked and played not to lose, not to win. Call it dumb or whatever you will, but this isn't the first questionable gameday scenario we've seen from Jones. I like Jones, I support him and this team, and I feel like he will lead us back to prominence with the talent he's bringing in, and I also understand we're still young and lacking depth in places. I never said the sky was falling, but God forbid I don't blindly follow every move he makes and question him. Unquestioning faith is "dumb" if you ask me. I'm giving him all the time he needs, and he lost to a good team, not Toledo, but that doesn't mean he can't learn from his mistakes, him and Debord both.

You completely missed the point. The decisions the coaching staff made put us in position to win the game if players make plays that are completely standard and plays they are expected to make. Therefore, the decisions did not lose the game. If the coaches made different decisions in the 2nd half and players continued to not make plays like they did then we still lose. We are not talking about 'we would have won if player X had made that miraculous play in the 4th quarter.' With the coaching decisions that were, we win the game if players make plays they make every day in practice. Bottom line. Easy catches, tackling the QB, picking up blocks on the blitz, etc.

When the coaching decisions are not working, regardless of the reason, then you make adjustments. Thats what good coaches do. You can put the blame on the players all you want but the coaches are the ones who should shoulder most of the blame.
Like most things, I don't think there is a single answer. Sure, the players need to make more plays but if the coaches shake things up on O, then maybe it gives the offense breathing room to make plays, gain confidence and make more plays. That then gives the D some rest, which leads to them making plays. That then leads to a happier VN and everybody starts making plays in their lives like that guy cupping the fun bags.
