Because i don't have anything worth noting from the UGA folks as it relates to him.
You don't have to pay attention if you don't want to.

No idea who devinner is...I just joined the forum to try and shed some info on the GA side of things since at my country club here in Atlanta i am surrounded by some of the folks who are "fueling" UGA's recruiting efforts.

I don't know if Atlanta Vol is legit or not. Don't really care at this point, time will tell one way or the other.

What I find odd, and maybe it's just me, is that the boosters have THAT much information to share. I mean seriously, how much money do you have to donate to have that kind of control that the coaches have to report to you on who they are recruiting and where they stand with each recruit?

That's the part that doesn't make sense to me.

What do they do, say "I'll donate this much money, but only if you give me weekly progress reports on recruiting........oh and I want to call a couple of plays during the Alabama game".

I mean seriously, we've got guys on this board, that work in the AD that don't have this kind of info.

I would agree, I don't think boosters would receive much if any knowledge on recruits from the coaching staff, and if they did i'm sure it would almost all be positive info.

There is nothing going on regarding "Ill donate this much money and i need information on recruiting"etc etc as you describe.

My buddies are recruiting conduits who also happen to be leveraging donors to help the program if you understand

I was born and raised in Knoxville. I fly in almost every sat morning from Atlanta to attend the home games....I bleed orange and I facilitate the University on many levels from a donor perspective even though I didn't graduate from the school. I am a member of the Vol Airforce and do nothing but support the program in any way I can. Thought I would share some info from my buddies that facilitate some of the recruiting efforts at UGA. I will keep to myself from now on and watch the message boards instead of post...

I don't think being a booster automatically means you have info on any recruit. What it does get you is access to the program, and if you have a question about a particular recruit, you can get an answer from someone who knows.
