Agreed. I don't think Knott is a take unless Buchanan leaves on his own and we miss on Byrd.

Brent Hubbs just said on the radio that he thinks Buchanan doesn't visit OSU now. Said he thinks the coaching staff told him if he went to visit them that there'd be no promise his spot would still be there when he got back from the visit. I like this, because it tests how committed the recruits really are. Hubbs said he doesnt think he visits OSU now.

If you're in another state you can download the iheartradio app, and search for radio in knoxville Tennessee. The radio station is called the sports animal, and its UT sports from 6am-7pm Monday-Friday.

This is no knock on Buchanan because I'm a big fan of his, but Knott is elite and there is no way in hell the staff would turn him down if he wanted on board.

If they turned Victor down, maybe they would. Especially with him showing little to no interest in UT for months.

Per Hubbs

Tennessee head coach Butch Jones has been on the road nearly all week and on Wednesday he had an important in-home visit with cornerback commitment Baylen Buchanan. Buchanan had been contemplating a visit to Ohio State next weekend but after talking to several people close to his recruitment it looks like that visit won't take place.

Exactly. If he's going to visit, he's not "committed" and that means his spot is up for grabs. Kids play the game, but they'd better be prepared to see their spot given to someone else if they keep visiting.

I actually agree with this. Some will spin this negatively on your coaches, and ole Saint Richt was always known for taking the high road when it came to this or players transferring wherever they wanted, including a next year opponent (JJ Green and Ga Tech).

I know some kids want to enjoy the travel for free like Mecole, but this situation is one of those perceived upgrades. No knock on UT. Just the kids perception. If you take the visit it's not a commitment, so don't chirp is somebody else has taken your spot that values it more than you.
