How close to his gametime is the announcement?

If it's anywhere close to gametime then not doing interviews would be very much suspected IMO

This sounds very plausible. I don't see him running on to the field donning the power T in front of all those Bulldogs.

I am out of this thread. I doubt give a damn if we get this kid or not. Kid has his mind far far from where it needs to be if that is how he is announcing his school. Should be worried about his team and game to play.

I agree, about him probably not running onto the field with a Tn hat, but if he did, could you imagine!!!

That would be right there with Preston Williams showing up on Auburn visit with Tn gear.

Seriously, Bruin? I think making your teammates a part of the announcement is a heck of a lot better than a hat ceremony. His teammates and all the hours they put in are partially why he is where he is. Pretty cool to make them a part of it.

I guess that makes sense and could explain why he selected the night before a Georgia open date to make his decision public. Everything looks catered to them. If that is how it plays out then it does surprise me. Georgia looked like they were out of it in the summer but if this is what mama wants....

Darell Taylor did something somewhat like it, except he came out and put a Tennessee hat on during halftime of his game. Wish I was home that weekend, would of definitely gone to the game to see that.

This wouldn't be the first time that VN has tried to read between the lines on a blank page. I am guilty of it too. Davis hasn't left much for us to guess with so the circumstances of his announcement are all we have. I don't think Craig would be at his high school at all the day before a road game in Arkansas if Auburn had been told that they were out of the picture. Tennessee may even still have a chance, who knows?
