'16 GA ATH Kyle Davis

His dad lives in Chattanooga was visiting his dad last weekend instead of going to the UGA/Mizzou game was wearing UT bracelets in the group pic with his dad, but honestly I usually know where most kids from GA are heading on this one I'm pretty confused because none of my connections know either

Yup. Seems like it could go either way

He certainly has kept his choice a secret better than most do. Let's hope KD was not trolling during his Tennessee visit last weekend 🙏

I can def understand how some WR would look at "WRU" and be like "they aren't WRU so much of late," but choosing Auburn, a team who's offense is based around the run, wouldn't make much sense. I'm going with the Vols on this one because of proximity, the number of times he's visited, and his connection with JG.

Auburn usually wins these it seems. Barn seems to be our biggest thorn in the side every year.

To be fair over the past few years Auburn has had more production out of the WR position than UT has. That said Auburn doesn't have the scheme which favors WRs nor arm talent lined up like UT does. Dormady has looked pretty good in the limited action we have saw him in. Guarantano, Johnson, and Lawrence are lined up in the next few years as well; all of which are outstanding passers.

Two different systems. We run to set up the pass, they run to set up the run, to set up the run, to only run it after that and mayyyyyybe chuck it 15-20 yards down field once every 5-6 plays. At least we "attempt" to get the ball in the hands of our playmakers in space.

Out of necessity moreso than anything at this point. We have a QB who is somewhat inconsistent at passing but great at running the ball, we have protection issues along the Oline, we have WRs that struggle to separate. UGA looked much, much better but I want to see that trend of improvement continue in all the upcoming games.

Orange Hammer what's your opinion on Azzani?

It seems as if the underrated guys have improved under him while the stars haven't panned out as much. Jason Croom was a thorn in our side, and after a year under CZA he improved a lot, just as J.Johnson has. Sure guys like PWill are gonna go up and make plays, but there isn't as much tenacity or GATA in guys like Malone as there should be. Bray and Hunter were successful because he knew he could throw the ball 13 feet off the ground and Hunter would go up and get it -- it just doesn't seem like our QB's and WR's have that chemistry, which is sad considering we have 6'4 all stars all over our WR roster. Dobbs has an arm, so I'm not sure if its a trust issue or what but he's missed guys all over the field as well so I'd say it's a combination of that, a little of the OL (or a lot), and our WR just not being aggressive enough, which again, is sad because many of them should be un-guardable.

Even when Butch has the team exactly where he wants it, we are still not going to be a team that throws a lot, unless game flow dictates that we do. Butch wants to run the ball and always will.

His offense is based around keeping the defense off-balance, so I'd say his game plan is more-so dictated by the personnel that is in the game at that time. I highly doubt you would see nearly as many runs if a guy like Dormady were in, or even Sheriron Jones. Both guys have a cannon and like to sling it around, and if they are more successful doing that than not even finishing out fake runs on the spread-option (via Worley) then I'd say we would lean more on the pass than the run. JMO though.

Of course he will but that doesn't mean his system doesn't produce through the air as well. Collaros and lefevour both had 3000 yards passing in some seasons under Jones.

auburn is closer than knoxville. auburn is 'right' on the other side of the state line.

I have a bad feeling he's trolling us. Hope I'm wrong.

He's not trolling anyone. He is one of the most quiet recruits of his stature that I've seen in a while. Interviews and first hand information are hard to find on him. There isn't much out there about him and that is leading to a lot of conjecture and speculation. It is rumored that he was recruiting Hardman for Tennessee but we don't know that for sure. We really don't much at all about what his intentions are.

I don't think he's trolling either. We may not get him, but He isn't trolling IMO. He just doesn't want anyone to know where he's going until he announces. In order for that to happen, you have to say things to keep everyone guessing.
