'16 GA ATH Kyle Davis

I just read p. 117. Not one of your better moments. Besides, most of the analysts in the loop say they have no clue. So I doubt your sources are any closer to the situation than yours. Not to mention P Fort said this one isn't over regardless who he picks Friday.

Well, pg 117 is just the last time I've commented in this thread because it's a waste of time. Lol. On that page, I'm using PFort's info to back up what I'd said about 10 pages before that... back in August I was told by several former players that Davis was almost a lock to Auburn. I wasn't tooting my horn, I was honestly trying to get people to lower expectations on him but it clearly didn't work.

It's funny that a few weeks before that, I'd heard he was a UT lean. But the Auburn stuff has just been too strong since then. They are selling him being their next Duke.

We shall see. Obviously a guy who has already de committed once is always going to be a wild card until he signs papers. That's what PFort means by "it won't be over." But Auburn is and has been his leader for months. That said, no one including me knows who he will commit to simply because he's playing the game. By all means I hope we land him somehow. It'd be a major upset IMO.

Per Hubbs on Kyle Davis

I don't know what he's going to do, but it hasn't felt like Tennessee to me for a while.

Per P Fort

He wasn't at UGA's game this weekend while several other local guys, like Mecole Hardman were. I think that has to be taken as a good sign. I know some believe Tennessee could be trending in the right direction but I don't have anything to back that up right now.

He's gone very quiet. Several very close to him claim they don't know what he's doing and this is coming from independent sources.

I know ut feels good here but I still hear auburn for the most part. It wouldn't be the first time an auburn recruit had lied to the staff. Whichever school gets his commitment will be in a fight until he enrolls though.

Read the edit with the P Fort comment. He's more in tune with the recruiting end nowadays with Hubbs health issues and all.

All Fort said was that he wasn't at the Georgia which is a good sign that he's not going there but it seems to be between Tennessee and Auburn anyway... Every source agrees that Davis is very quiet and hard to read but they also tend to lean Auburn's direction. I still have hope for him but it doesn't look good.

UGA, Tennessee, and Auburn have all struggled badly throwing the ball this year. I could see why he would be hesitant to commit to anyone of those schools.

Man I hope ZA leaves.

Auburn could lose every game but Idaho the rest of this year. If they miss a bowl I can't see recruits like this sticking.

If those close to him have no idea, how can we, as fans, even presume to know where the kid is leaning. Fact is, he may not even know.

The more I follow recruiting the more convinced I am that many of these big decisions come down to flip of the coin split second decisions based on how the player feels the day of signing day ie. announcement day. Who knows at this point.

Keith N. basically just admitted to guessing with the crystal ball. Said it's a toss up and his confidence level in Auburn landing him is not high.

I wouldn't pay attention to what anyone says until thursday night or friday since KD isn't doing interviews

It kind of sounds like he is telling whoever he talks to personally what they want to hear. You mention he tells TN staff and players he is a vol. Chad Clay a dawg commit thinks he is a dawg based on talks with him. Auburn thinks they are good. We will see Friday what he really thinks.
